Tea Shop 168 on Midland

After Congee Time, my friend and I went to Tea Shop 168 on Midland after skating. When my friend and I arrived at the tea shop, it was weird how it was so dead in the tea shop. My friend and I were the only ones. While we were there, a group of 5 people entered into the tea shop and left right away. I was wondering why? My friend and I stayed there for about 3 hours and it was still pretty dead. When we were about to pay, the waitress stated they only accept cash. My friend and I were like, "Say what?!". So my friend had to go to the nearest interact machine which was out of service. He inconveniently had to drive to the next plaza to withdraw cash. The food was ok. When we asked for water, the water tasted weird. The Funnel Cake was good but they went all el'cheap-o on the ice cream. The Customer service ...how should I say this? The people who were working seemed to be two faced? I noticed that someone had increased the volume of the music so it was difficult carrying a conversation. The barista and the waitress were watching something on their laptop most of the time.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend this place to anyone. I never been in a tea shop this empty and playing music this loud. I don't think I will ever return here.

I rate this tea shop 0.0/5.0.
