P.F. Chang's China Bistro

P.F. Chang's on Urbanspoon

Hello my Hungry Viewers!
I am unsure where I have heard P.F. Chang's before. I believe I heard it from the new 90210 TV show series. A friend wanted to return to P.F. Chang's so I tagged along a couple of days ago. It was my first time visiting this restaurant.

CHANG'S VEGGIE SOUP
Vegetarian Menu Items
A delicious soup prepared with a pureed blend of spinach, bok choy, green peas and lettuce

Deep fried noodles

                                                    Sex on the Beach

Garlic Noodles
Egg noodles tossed with garlic and chili pepper flakes

It tasted sweet, spicy and a tad of garlic. It was good. I wish it wasn't sweet and it was more of a garlicy, savoury dish.

Sweet and Sour Shrimp

I had requested my garlic noodles with some vegetables.

The shrimp tasted pretty clean, no grits.

JADE MARTINI
Captain Morgan Parrot Bay, coconut rum, melon liqueur, with a splash of pineapple juice

A frozen melon in the centre. My friend thought it was a part of a frozen treat. I also thought it may have been a fragment of a popsicle.

I finally got into an position where the light is striking through the drink nicely. From my angle, everything appeared dark and a bit gloomy.
Interesting lightening...

The view from my table...
I give this place 3.5/5.0. I loved the soup and my main dish was alright. I think I'm aging and my preference to food is evolving. I no longer like my noodles very sweet. I'm also avoiding pad thai these days. Yes, I think I am already acquired a taste of an old Korean lady. I felt the Garlic Noodles were too sweet for me. THe environment was clean and well taken care of.

They certainty did have other interesting food menus I would like to explore. The drink were good but standard. The female server was so nice and accommodating. She allowed my friend and I to talk for approximately an hour before we ordered.  We probably stayed at P.F Chang's for nearly four hours catching up on life. The food was a bit pricey for what I received in the end and it definitely what I like to call it, "Modern Chinese Food".  I would like to return to P.F Chang's Chinese Bistro again in the future and try out some other food items.
