Grazie Ristorante #2

Grazie Ristorante on Urbanspoon
Hello those who love pasta!
I returned to Grazie Ristorante located at Yonge & Eglington last week.

This restaurant is very popular as you can see.
I wanted my friend to try out the Gnocchi.

So we ended up ordering Gnocchi, Olivia and Tasca.
I wanted the Gnocchi and Oliva but couldn't decided on one food item so I ordered both!

Complimentary Bread and Butter

Jack our friendly server was so accomodating. I had requested to have the Gnocchi split into two different plates because I wanted my friend to have her own plate.
So this was how she ate her Gnocchi.
And I could not skip out on the Parmesan Cheese.
It looks like snow all over my pasta. Beautiful!
I also had the cracked pepper corns. I love black pepper!
I tried my friend's Gnocchi and it tasted plain and incomplete with out the cheese on top and my friend ended up regretting it.

When I had my first bite of the gnocchi, I swear to God, it felt like Jazz Music. You know how Jazz songs are very lively, and have crescendos and accents and interesting beats and tunes? That is what my taste buds felt like.
Mmmm.. So good! I can't stop eating!
*Correction*
They don't actually made the fresh pasta at the ristorante. Jack explained that the kitchen is too small to create handmade fresh pasta. I seriously wouldn't have known. All of the pastas taste very fresh!
Behold! The Olivia! It's pretty much Mac and Cheese.

The natural light is hitting the Olivia perfectly!
Here is a napkin. I see you are drooling a bit on the corner of your lip.

One of the best Macaroni and Cheese in Toronto! The pasta is fresh, and cheeses all came together so nicely! It was delicioussssss!!!!!

The Tasca had landed on the table for my friend.

Snowflakes (Parmesan Cheese) on top please! She wasn't going to make the same mistake and say "I don't want Parmesan Cheese."

Once again, the chef sprinkled herbs artistically all over the plate.

Her first bite and she was in heaven!

She offered me a bite.

Here it goes!

It was delicious. The pasta was similar to lasagna sheets but it was completely flat. The pasta was so fresh and soft! To my mouth, it tasted like a harmony of vegetables singing in my mouth.
My friend didn't like the Gnocchi but she said she will return for the Tasca.

As you can see, it has a lot of mushrooms. Danny detests mushrooms. Don't ask me why. My friend and I couldn't finish the rest of the pasta so I took the rest home. Danny ate whatever Tasca that was remaining. I said to him, "You realize that has a lot of mushrooms?" Danny muttered, "It's actually really good! I don't taste the mushrooms."
O.O
The Tasca was so good that even mushroom haters will eat it!

In the end, I really enjoyed everything! I would return to try out other pasta items and I am definitely interested in the pizza as well. Jack our server was so friendly and nice. He actually took the time to look at my food blog when he had a spare minute. He was so charismatic, nice and accommodating. I look forward for my next visit at Grazie!
