Irish Embassy Pub & Grill

Irish Embassy Pub & Grill on Urbanspoon

Hello my Irish and Fish and Chips Friends!

One of Danny's friend had an expired Groupon and given it to us. Thank you thank you! Fish and Chips is Danny's favourite food and we were very grateful we had the opportunity to visit the Irish Embassy. His friend has an excellent taste in food!

I did walk past the Irish Embassy but I was too intimidated visiting this place because of the fine  artistic details of architect and the columns. I did notice a large billboard in the area advertising this place.

They had a Bar and Television section and the restaurant section.

We ordered Kilkenny Battered Haddock Fish And Chips. It arrived with
Fresh Cut Fries, House Coleslaw and Homemade Tartar Sauce.

I'm not a big fan of capers.

Irish Nachos
Potato Waffle Chips, Ground Beef, Aged Cheedar Cheese & Green Onion
I didn't like the Guacamole. It tasted strange to me.

I was in love with the Nachos! It tasted like a real chip! Crispy on the outside, soft in the inside.
That chip was marbled nicely with shredded cheese.

Look at thick the cut is!

Even their fries were cut thick.

Try the Fish!

I noticed the fish was very flaky. I am unsure if this is a  good or bad thing.

Stretch my melted cheese!

Still stretching!

The food defeated us. The Tartar Sauce was soo dreamy creamy delicious that we asked for an extra and took it home with along with the leftovers.

We arrived home to eat more!
Yes! And we had Chocolate Mousse from the downstairs dessert shop at the St. Lawrence Market.

Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse

The mousses were both delicious and we felt the Tiramisu effect on us.

I would give 4.0/5.0 stars to the Irish Embassy. I would return there again. I would order the same exact food items. Our server was nice and attentive. The place was executed well. The food was great and tasty. Just try not to eat anything before you visit this place because the food is heavy on the stomach.

Bellissimo Pizzeria & Ristorante

Bellissimo Pizzaria & Ristorante on Urbanspoon

Hello Pizza Lovers!!!
If you're the type of person who haven't eaten Pizza Pizza's Pizza for years. You might find your new pizza parlor that tastes pizza in the 1990's. I hate Pizza Pizza! I would seriously prefer Domino's pizza.

I was just walking by and noticed a cute patio restaurant.

Danny ordered the Ground Beef with Tomatoes and Onion.

This pizza is good as it looks.

The pizza arrived on a stand and the server served us our first slice. It almost felt like she was presenting a cake to us. I thought that was very nice of her. She provided an additional "Wow Factor".  Then the female server offered Parmesan cheese. When I go to Boston Pizza, I never really seen anyone doing that other than offering freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

It was hot, fresh and didn't taste super processed like most franchise pizzas do.

For some strange reason, I wanted to try out their chicken wings. So I ordered it in honey garlic sauce. Yuck! I'm never ordering chicken at this place. Just please! Don't!

You can kind of tell in this photo the pizza is on a stand. It appears that the pizza and the pan is floating in air and it's in your face.
It's saying, "Look at me! I will always be 10 inches away from your face."

I'm a bit of a strange girl. I love garlic! This pizza has pineapples, extra cheese and I asked for additional garlic.

Danny ended up liking my pizza.

Mmm... so good!

We tried take out.

Plain Pizza

The pizza cooled down a bit however it was still good.

I would give this place 4.0/5.0. This is my new favourite pizza place in the St. Lawerence area of Toronto! Their pizzas usually are baked pretty quickly... about 20 minutes. Delivery is for free if in the local area. They got take out special deals. Whenever I enter Belissimo's there are 3-4 groups of people or more. They also got a about 3 television so it was a good spot to go to to watch the FIFA Soccer Game. They also have a bar section. I felt for the price and the quality of the pizza, this is the place to order your pizza. The pizza is flavorful, delicious, fresh and hot. Yes, I would return for more!

The Jason George

The Jason George on Urbanspoon

Hello my hungry friends!
Danny finally got the opportunity to take me out to The Jason George for Breakfast.

It was truly a lovely day!

Danny told me usually there is a line up to be seated at this restaurant. In the beginning, there were at least two groups of people waiting in line.

I had to add this photo. I take good scenery photos.

I ordered the Mexican Omelette (Diced chicken, salsa and cheddar cheese).

I cannot recall what Danny ordered.

This picture had this poetic feeling when I look at it...
Maybe I should write a poem right now.

The toast lay there with fried eggs golden brown
The dried herbs were vibrantly green
And there was a lone shred of cheddar cheese sitting waiting to be eaten

Note to self: Sunlight may sometimes have a spotlight effect...

I would give this place 3.0/5.0. I was sort of disappointed because I was still hungry after eating the breakfast meal. Maybe something is wrong with me and I just eat too  much for a small girl. However, I exited thinking it was an okay breakfast but not filling and hungry for more. The customer service... The Jason George could have used extra servers. It was difficult grabbing the servers' attention. I am unsure if I want to return to The Jason George. Perhaps The Jason George is more of a dinner restaurant.
