Canyon Creek-Front Street

Hello everyone!
I visited Canyon Creek on July 23, 2015.

This was the second time I've ever visited a basement level restaurant. It was noted the lights were dim to create the sensual, romantic atmosphere.

There was a private room where families can dine.
My date and I were seated in a booth. We ate some bread with Honey Butter while we waited for the other couple.

Top: Chipotle Sirloin Steak with vegetables and mashed potato
Bottom: Canyon Dip (Spinach with cheese and tomato salsa)

Bacon Cheese Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

Fish Tacos
They were soggy, falling apart and didn't taste good.

Top: Molten Chocolate Cake- Chocolate cake with chocolate centre sitting on top of crème anglaise, with vanilla ice cream and a crisp basil leaf.
Bottom: Creme Brulee- A delightfully rich custard with a caramelized sugar top with hidden chocolate chip bottom

It took me by surprise that there was a chocolate bottom. I loved it! If the custard was fresher, it would have be my go to place to get Creme Brulee. The taste of dairy, it cannot lie.
