My First Time at Red Lobster (Dundas & Bay)

Red Lobster Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato
Hello Seafood lovers!
So I've never visited Red Lobster. Danny have been talking about Red Lobster and their Cheddar Bay Biscuits. He thought they were "The Best Biscuits ever!"

We had visited the Bay and Dundas Red Lobster on Saturday April 16, 2016.

A live lobster tank that was right at their entrance. The host greeted us and asked if we watched a booth seat. Yes please!

We got the best seats in the house. These booth seats can seat up to four people comfortably. This was a great bed for a short nap after the meal.

Tadaah! The cheddar bay biscuits! They tasted pretty processed but they were tasty and addictive! I asked our server, "Is there crack in the biscuits?" They were fluffy, soft, salty and cheesy.

He had garden salad with a thousand island dressing.

I had my garden salad with Italian dressing. The salad wasn't too fresh but the cherry tomatoes were.

Lobster Lover's Dream
It had a rock lobster tail with a sweet split Maritime lobster tail. I chose the grilled green beans and the tomatoes as my side. There was also lobster and shrimp linguini Alfredo.

I finished this first..

I prefer regular lobster. Dipping the lobster meat in the butter definitely brought out the sweetness. It was seafood heaven! I loved it!

Then this second..
The pasta was creamy and very cheesy. Danny kept on trying to steal some. The green beans were sadly skinny and dried but the grilled tomatoes tasted great and very flavourful! It tasted like sun dried tomatoes re-hydrated.

The rock lobster tail was salty and had an earthy and rock taste to it. I would know because I licked a rock before when I was a child. I wasn't too crazy about the rock lobster.

Admiral's Feast
It states, "Walt's favourite shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and a fish fillet, all fried to a golden brown." Danny chosen grilled green beans and roasted tomatoes for his side.

I loved the way how they cleaned the shrimps on both sides so it has a crystal clean taste.

Clam strips

We were unsure what type of fish this was. Danny guessed it was a piece of haddock.

This Red Lobster deserves a 4.0/5.0. Overall, the meal was fantastic! Two things I did not like. It tasted very processed and the vegetables needs to be more fresh. It reminded me of eating McDonalds. They were very keen on presentation. The server brought out the foods in the largest circular tray I had ever seen! He pulled out a fold-able, wooden, tray stand for the Voila Effect! When I looked around, most of their clients base were multicultural but mainly Caucasian and older adults. The place was clean and well kept. The staff members were friendly, helpful and I will say patient. We took awhile to order. I will definitely see myself coming here once a year to satisfy my seafood cravings.
